Summer fun for all the family
Nordic Walking in South Tyrol
In the case of Nordic Walking, our own
innate diagonal technique is helped
along by the use of sticks.
The incorporation of the arms and
shoulders into the task helps spread
the body’s effort around, thereby
reducing the strain on the spinal column
and joints. The knees are also relieved
of strain, and the sticks give you an
added sense of security.
Nordic Walking is as healthy as long-
distance skiing, but simpler to practice,
as it can be done anywhere and at any
time.

Nordic Walking Active Fitness Park in Val di Funes
The new Active Fitness Park in Val di Funes offers Nordic Walkers six different routes of some 100 km in length, which pass through gently-rolling fields, high Alpine meadows and a range of mountain country. A 90-minute taster course is held on every Monday between May and November.
