Paragliding in the Dolomites

If you have chosen a holiday at an active hotel in the Dolomites, a paragliding flight is sure to impress you. Summon your courage and get to know the mountains from a completely new perspective. There is a reason why the Dolomites are very popular among paragliders. Soar like a bird over lush green meadows or snow-capped mountain slopes. Your tandem pilot will take care of the rest. Paragliders take off from Boè mountain station (altitude: 2,200 m) and the Kronplatz (altitude: 2,275 m).

KronAction Outdoor & Fun Park

Explore the biggest high ropes course in South Tyrol with the whole family. You will find 14 different courses with 140 stations at a maximum of 14 m height here. You will be securely fastened in throughout your adventure. Before you’re let loose, you will be given detailed instructions on how to correctly navigate the high ropes course. KronAction Outdoor & Fun Park by Lake Issengo near the commune of Pfalzen is so much more than a climber’s paradise. The bungee trampoline, human catapult and 13 m free-fall experience will certainly get brave visitors’ blood pumping.

The zip line at Adrenaline X-treme Adventures adventure park

Europe’s longest zip line is a whopping 3,200 m in length. At around 100 m above the ground, zipliners hurtle to the next stop at speeds of up to 80 km/h. There is a total of 10 ropes to speed through on your adrenalin frenzy. This is a completely unique way to see the sensational natural landscape of San Vigilio in the heart of the Dolomites. After this adventure, it is safe to say you will never forget your holiday at this active hotel in the Dolomites. Alternatively, or perhaps in addition, the park also organises segway tours.

Mountain carts on the Plose

Many tourists hare down the mountains on skis or a snowboard. But have you ever tried it on three wheels? This is a unique opportunity to embark on this exciting adventure from the cable car station in Plose. Race down to the valley station, around 9 km away, and enjoy the care-free feeling of the wind rushing through your hair. Remember: You are free to go at your own pace. Hotel reviews

  • Personal touch
I had the most amazing stay. The owner went out of her way to provide service above and beyond. Made breakfast at 4:30 am so I could make the start of my cycle Gran Fondo. The room was beautiful and cleaned daily and the meals were sumptuous. Staff were exceptional. I recommend this hotel.

  • “Jewel of a Hotel”
We have stayed at this family-run hotel twice while skiing over New Year's week, and both times were absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and they are able to offer family-sized, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suites that work well for us, especially with all of our skiing paraphernalia. The Prousch family and their employees work very hard to make sure their customers feel like guests. In the course of a week, you get to know other guests, many of whom return year after year, for good reason. The new bar area reminds me of staying at a lodge or retreat, with families playing games, doing puzzles and chatting in the evening hours between skiing and dinner. My daughter loved the kids' area and made new friends (German and Italian are the languages in the kids' "club"). Breakfast and dinner are consistently excellent, with new culinary experiences each trip. The view of the Dolomites from the hotel is absolutely incredible...

  • Convenient,Clean,Friendly,Value
Stayed here in January 2012 for avalanche training in mountains and skiing for fun. Convenient to ski areas and Dolomiten hiking trails. Hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean. Food is excellent, but most importantly the Prausch family makes you feel at home and have excellent hospitality. Very nice people. The area is peaceful and special. Daily shuttles to the ski areas are complimentary. I will visit them again and highly recommend this hotel for family vacation or a ski vacation.
