The free ski bus will take you to the Kronplatz ski resort in just 15 minutes. From the Piculin slope, you can take the 8-seater cable car system to the Kronplatz ski resort. Accessible low-floor buses run to and from Alta Badia every 20 minutes, where you can access the Sellaronda ski circuit. There are slopes of all difficulties within this massive ski resort.

Skiing on the Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s best ski resort

Enjoy your ski holiday in the Dolomites with thrilling downhill runs and a mind-blowing mountain backdrop. The summit of the Kronplatz stands at an altitude of 2,275 m. In addition to stunning 360° views, a number of restaurants open their doors to skiers and snowboarders here. You can get to the summit easily via cable car. There are 32 very modern lifts in total here. When skiing on the Kronplatz, you have the choice of a 119 km network of slopes. Which one will be your favourite? The infamous Black 5 are situated more towards the valley, while there are sun-kissed red and blue pistes just below the summit.
Snowboarders, freestylers and children will love the Snowpark. On the Belvedere piste, an easy and medium line of kickers and other equipment are sure to make for an exhilarating day. Kids will have a great time in Korer Park or the Kids Safety Park on the Olang 2 ski slope. You can also put your skills to the test with the slalom course, banked turns and tunnels here.

Alta Badia, where snow is guaranteed for your ski trip

When you go on a ski holiday to Alta Badia in the heart of the Dolomites, you have the choice of a 70 km network of blue, 52 km of red and 8 km of black slopes. 53 state-of-the-art ski lifts will take you to the starting point of your choice. See the unbelievably beautiful natural surroundings on the slopes of the Sellaronda, the First World War ski tour or the run down the Lagazuoi mountain with its amazing views.
This ski resort is also known for its family-friendly atmosphere with numerous children’s slopes, lifts and ski kindergartens. Children love the mogul slopes, slalom courses and small jumps on the Prolongià II children’s slope. Between the La Fraina and Ciampai slopes, beginners and pros alike can put their skills to the test in a snowpark with two areas separated by difficulty level.

Hotel reviews

  • Personal touch
I had the most amazing stay. The owner went out of her way to provide service above and beyond. Made breakfast at 4:30 am so I could make the start of my cycle Gran Fondo. The room was beautiful and cleaned daily and the meals were sumptuous. Staff were exceptional. I recommend this hotel.

  • “Jewel of a Hotel”
We have stayed at this family-run hotel twice while skiing over New Year's week, and both times were absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and they are able to offer family-sized, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suites that work well for us, especially with all of our skiing paraphernalia. The Prousch family and their employees work very hard to make sure their customers feel like guests. In the course of a week, you get to know other guests, many of whom return year after year, for good reason. The new bar area reminds me of staying at a lodge or retreat, with families playing games, doing puzzles and chatting in the evening hours between skiing and dinner. My daughter loved the kids' area and made new friends (German and Italian are the languages in the kids' "club"). Breakfast and dinner are consistently excellent, with new culinary experiences each trip. The view of the Dolomites from the hotel is absolutely incredible...

  • Convenient,Clean,Friendly,Value
Stayed here in January 2012 for avalanche training in mountains and skiing for fun. Convenient to ski areas and Dolomiten hiking trails. Hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean. Food is excellent, but most importantly the Prausch family makes you feel at home and have excellent hospitality. Very nice people. The area is peaceful and special. Daily shuttles to the ski areas are complimentary. I will visit them again and highly recommend this hotel for family vacation or a ski vacation.
